Job Summary: The Employee BenefitAccount Manager is the primary day-to-day client champion for the functioning of the benefit plans. They are accountable for acting as a mentor to the HNI service team to uphold exceptional service standards. This position requires deep subject matter expertise in implementation, administration, client services and insurance marketing. Hybrid work environment available. Responsibilities: Retention of existing clients and assistance with the onboarding of new clients. Provides exceptional service to HNI clients while ensuring they receive services that align with their strategic goals. Acts as a mentor for HNI Account Associates as they work together on client objectives Responsible for the maintenance of client information ensuring that service standards are met and compliance is ensured Leverages the knowledge of clients' coverage and programs with their own expertise in client services and insurance administration for the benefit of the client and other team members. Serves as a subject matter expert on HNI products, capabilities and services offered Supports the client benefit communication needs including wellness programs and benefit enrollment meetings. Supports the Service teams' overall operations and customer service delivery Supports the development of client renewal strategies and ensures successful execution by the service team. Professionalism and Integrity: Develops and maintains a positive working relationship with team members and clients Corresponds with clients, prospects and company representatives in a professional manner Cultivates a team environment that promotes professionalism and encourages others to excel Proactively works towards achieving agency and team goals. Maintains a positive attitude and show enthusiasm toward job accountabilities and objectives Performs work activities in an accurate manner and with the proper sense of urgency Development: Stays up to date on new insurance developments to enhance professional working knowledge and competence Proactively seeks knowledge of and uses the resources/tools available Pursue continued development both professionally and emotionally within the work environment Acts as a catalyst for change within the company to ensure positive procedures and systems within the service teams and positive results for our clients Senior Level Duties: Performs Account Manager duties listed above consistently at a high-level in addition to taking on duties outside of the aforementioned role through the performance of a number of Account Executive duties on a consistent basis. Demonstrated knowledge and proven efficiency of workflows, insurance processing and HNI's core deliverables Actively participates in project teams, effectively going outside of the the role. Acts as a leader and mentor for other members of the service teams by setting an example and living out HNI's core values OR Effectively fulfills Account Executive responsibilities on select clients Compiles effective executive summaries for progress reports Negotiates rates with underwriters Performs Account rounding and/or referrals Actively participates in industry related associations. Manages playbook Education, Skill, and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field of study or equivalent experience required Minimum 3 years' experience within an insurance related industry with an emphasis on Self-Funded, Level Funded and Large Group Clients. Strong computer skills and a high level of comfort in a virtual work setting Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Ability to work well on a team Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities Licenses and Designations: Current Insurance License in Health and Life for the state in which your HNI office is located Ability to work toward additional professional designations #LI-Hybrid #LI-LC1 Acrisure is committed to employing a diverse workforce.
